The interior design exercise focused on transforming the kitchen into a welcoming and functional space, as it serves as a focal point within the house. Given its north-facing orientation, maximizing natural light was a priority. To achieve this, a lighter shade was carefully chosen for the cabinet colors, creating a brighter and more inviting atmosphere. Earthy tones, such as soothing beige and light wood, were thoughtfully incorporated, adding warmth and elegance to the overall design. The kitchen also includes a designated TV area, where family and friends can gather, making it a versatile space that combines both functionality and comfort. By using a harmonious colour palette and optimizing natural light, the updated kitchen now stands as an attractive centerpiece of the house.

Sitting Room:
The interior design exercise focused on creating an elegant and cozy sitting room that would see frequent use. This room was intended to be a space where comfort meets sophistication. Natural materials were embraced to enhance the room's aesthetic appeal. The stripped-back finishes allowed the natural grain of the wood to shine, infusing the space with a sense of organic beauty. Given its intended frequent use, careful attention was paid to ensure that the proposed design struck the perfect balance between elegance and coziness. The room now offers an inviting atmosphere where one can relax, unwind, and enjoy the company of others.
